Thinking WAY outside the box

Microsoft sponsored its fourth annual Next-Gen PC design in June, and I just stumbled upon this top 10 list. The top 5 PC ideas are amazing! I want one, no two, gimme gimme! However, I’m honestly not very excited about the child-focused PCs; I’m a strong believer in children actually putting markers and crayons to paper and having that tactile, if perhaps messy experience. Too much research is showing how important it is developmentally for kids to experience the actual tactile experience of playing with blocks and writing the letters rather than manipulating them on a screen.

As for grown-ups, I’m suspecting that coffee-mug PC is going to be hitting markets as soon as they can make it spill-proof.
