From NPR’s Science Friday, an interview with the author Steven Strogatz, Professor of Applied Mathematics, Cornell University, on his book The Calculus of Friendship: What a Teacher and a Student Learned About Life While Corresponding About Math. In his new book, Steven Strogatz looks back on the 30-year correspondence he maintained with his high school math teacher.
