Webby Award Nominees Announced

Want to find the best of the best that the Internet has to offer? Then just check out the annual list of Webby Award nominees!

I love the Webby Awards because they are a great way to honor some of the creative work going on in the world of the web, or just art in general that just happens to be broadcast via the Internet. For example, last year’s Webby winner in the Art category was sculptor Richard Serra (while People’s choince winner was Artocracy).

Writers, photographers, and all sorts of web-savy artists show up on these nomination lists, and all for a good reason. They also give awards for best community. In a world of individualized everything, that’s a nice sentiment.

You have until April 30 to cast your vote. Vote early and often!
