NPR series: Music & Technology

NPR is releasing a series this week that looks at the incorporation of technology into music. Here’s the series page. I’m currently listening to the story about the changes to the music program at NYU. It’s fun to hear what kinds of things music students (who have grown up in the electronic age) are coming up with.

Beth Kelley is an applied & digital anthropologist with an overall interest in how people engage with and are impacted by their environments and vice versa. This has manifested itself in many ways, by looking at creativity, playful spaces, built environments, and environmental enrichment, sustainability, design research, and integrative and collaborative models of learning such as through play and hands-on learning.
