Fiber optic sculpture

This is an older article I’ve been sitting on for awhile, but I figured it was time to take it out, dust it off, and put it on display: This year’s Pitti Uomo fashion show in the Tuscan region of Italy featured an interactive art installation called The Cloud, with over 15,000 individually controllable fiber optic lights. Beth Kelley is an applied & digital anthropologist with an overall interest in how people engage with and are impacted by their environments and vice versa.
